BLOX Racing wants to thank everyone that came out to the 2nd annual BLOX Open House and Car Show event this past Saturday.
If you didn’t make it out, you definitely missed the event of the year. The BLOX complex was packed full of awesome show cars, product and service vendors, gourmet food trucks and eateries, scooters and motorcycles. The NOS Energy Drink stage was bumping all day with Wild 94.9 FM’s very own DJ J Espinosa in the mix. The hot NOS models were serving cold NOS drinks all day and throwing out cool giveaways from the stage. A handful of lucky winners walked away with awesome prizes donated by BLOX, BENEN, Detail Addict, Supertech Performance, Checkerd Sports, Wheel Dude and JHPUSA.
Some of the new segments that were added this year were the BLOX Model Contest, DSPORT Magazine Model Search presented by Konig Wheels and the gourmet food court. Hungry participants and attendees were able to dine at some of the Bay Area’s coolest food trucks and eateries. Attendees were also treated to plenty of dessert on the stage as they watched the BLOX Model Contest and the live photo sessions at the DSPORT Magazine booth. Make sure you all check newsstands for event coverage and the model search process in upcoming issues.
The BLOX Open House and Car Show also supported Life Elder Care in raising money for their Meals On Wheels program. Life Elder Care provides hot meals to the elderly in the Fremont, Newark and Union City. BLOX is honored to be able to assist with their efforts.
All in all, the 2nd annual BLOX Open House and Car Show was HUGE. Hundreds of show vehicles came out to do battle for bragging rights as thousands came to witness the competition. To sweeten their hard work and victory, each winner also received free magazine subscriptions. All the success wouldn’t have been possible without the participation of our competitors, vendors, and attendees.
The BLOX Open House and Car Show event is a free event and the ONLY event of its kind. BLOX is proud and happy to be able to present this opportunity for everyone in the community and aftermarket to enjoy.
